Tasmanian Bike Week

What is Bike Week?

Bike Week is held in the first full week of March and promotes recreational, sport and transport bicycle riding in Tasmania and aims to give people opportunities and support to ride more often.

Bicycle Network and other cycling groups organise activities and promotion during the week such as social rides, organised rides, bicycle valet parking, information pop-ups and film nights.

If you would like your event or activity included in the Bike Week calendar, contact the Tasmanian Bicycle Council.

For the full calendar of what’s on during Bike Week, visit the council’s website

In 2023 Bike Week will be held 5–12 March

Help us make it easier to ride

The success of Bicycle Network rests on a team of dedicated volunteers who lead social rides, set up and staff valet parking, staff our festival stalls and events, count bikes and generally share their joy of riding.

If you are interested in volunteering for Bike Week or any other time of the year, please let us know.
