Our Women’s Community program aims to make it easier for our women and gender diverse riders who want to ride with and meet likeminded people.
Benefits of joining our Great Vic Women’s Community
- Join an inclusive community of like-minded riders
- Meet and train with fellow riders on our Women’s Community training rides.
- Celebrate the start of the Great Vic with welcome drinks to meet your fellow Women’s Community riders
- Arrive to a designated Women’s Community camping spot at each campsite
- Receive on-road and campsite support from our Women’s Community Ride Ambassadors who are here to guide and support you
- Meet new friends for breakfast and dinner at our designated Women’s Community tables

I really appreciated the support of the women’s community on my first ever Great Vic Bike Ride. I wasn’t confident to sign up for the ride alone, and I couldn’t encourage any friends to get on board with me. So when I saw there was the support of this womens group available I jumped at the opportunity.
I went along to a training ride and it was so nice to meet other like-minded riders. I also got some really good cycling tips as I am not a big road cyclist. The event was so much fun and I’d encourage anyone not too sure to join in with this amazing supportive group of girls!

I participated in my first Great Vic Bike Ride as a solo entrant, and the Women’s Community made it just a wonderful experience. Aside from loving the event itself, I became part of a community of friendly, active women, who supported each other at every turn both on the road and at the camp site.
